On one of the most beautiful canals in Rotterdam, 27 new loft apartments have been realized in a historic school building. The former Koningin Wilhelminaschool in Crooswijk dates from 1898 and is now starting its second life. You can now rent one of apartments here, as there are still a few available.
When you live in the former Queen Wilhelmina School, you have supermarkets, public transport and roads nearby. The new cozy Crooswijk has a lot to offer, shopping street Crooswijkseweg located around the corner, public transport can be reached in 2 minutes. The city center is approx. 6 minutes walking distance. So you really live centrally here.
The transformation from school to apartments has been carried out with taste and style. Characteristic elements of the building have been preserved. You will find the original stained-glass windows, the high ceilings and beautiful pointed arches. In the new apartment complex, modern architecture and interior meet the characteristic elements. The comfort is also modern: most lofts have an A-label; some on a B label. All lofts have fiber optics.
Each apartment is fully furnished and styled by Zuiver®. The beds are box springs from Swiss Sense®. The interiors are neutral and modern, yet cozy in an urban style.
Layout: The apartment is divided over 3 levels, the basement, groundfloor and a mezzanine. Entrance on the first floor, here is the bathroom / toilet, kitchen / dining room. Stairs provide access to the basement and mezzanine. In the basement there are 2 bedrooms (the 2nd bedroom is currently being realized). Through the stairs access to the mezzanine, where the living room can be found.
